Public Health Education

Agape provides simple lessons that will result in healthy behaviors. We supply the education and tools to teach students proper hand washing and personal hygiene. We’ve prepared creative and interactive lessons that teach the concepts of germs causing illness and ways to prevent germs from entering the body. The children are taught that soap kills germs and therefore soap saves lives. We provide a hygiene kit that includes soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and nail clippers. We also provide posters and reusable lesson plans to enable teachers to keep educating after we depart. The importance of drinking and washing with clean water is emphasized.
